Cuba is a Socialist country and normally do not admit professional photographers without a journalist accreditation. We provide this accreditation; it is a must for the whole team except the models and it takes approx. 3 weeks to get it. The temporary admission is linked to it and requires lists. Ask for samples. There are no model agencies in Cuba, castings exist though, they are organized by and from professionals of the local film industry. Equipment rental is still in its infancy but a couple of great approaches by foreigners to bring in ProFoto light have been successful. You can count on all sorts of film light, the Cuban film industry has always been one of the claims to fame for the Revolution, ask for lists. There is no broadband Internet so far in Cuba, Internet in general is scarce and only some hotels provide it in homeopathic doses. Our production partner hotels have Wireless Lan and business areas.

Prepare a photo shoot in Colombia
You approach the Northern coast of Colombia either through Panama City or Bogotá. There are several daily direct flights from Miami; they take only 2h30. The temporary admission of clothes and technical equipment requires lists and the support of the customs authority. Every South American country protects their local markets so don´t try to sneak in without it. You surely have heard the horror stories from Mexico or Brazil with the equipment being hold back in customs. Not so in Colombia and with 7 Seas Productions. There are casting agencies in Cartagena, which do a good job for a secondary or characters cast. Model agencies exist in Medellin and Bogotá. Ask for links. Everything else related to professional photo shoots have to be shipped from Bogotá or brought in by the teams.

Photo and film shoots in Argentina require permits throughout the whole country. The temporary admission of collection and technical equipment is handled thru incoming agents. 7 Seas takes care of that. Equipment rentals offer North American and European standard. Ask for links. Casting and model agencies are widespread; many Brazilian, Chilean and Colombian models come to Argentina for work. Ask for links to agencies. Studios and set builders have high professional standards. Not only in looks Buenos Aires resemble Europe, but also in standards and commodities such as hotels, health care and IT technology; in gastronomy it far surpasses everything that you have seen i.e. tasted.
